OBITUARY PROVIDED BY MILWARD FUNERAL HOME, LEXINGTON, KY - 08/20/2011 - Dr. Anne Marlowe Shurling, 64, of Louisville, formerly of Lexington, wife of Dr. Tom Shurling, died Wednesday, August 17, 2011 at her residence. She was the daughter of the late Charles Franklin and Margaret Helen Crossfield Marlowe. She was a private practice psychologist, university professor and accomplished musician. Besides her husband, survivors include one daughter, Jayne (Mitchell Ray) Miller, Louisville, KY; one sister, Jayne Marlowe, Longwood, FL and numerous cousins. Funeral services will be 11AM Saturday at Immanuel Baptist Church. Burial will be in the Sand Spring Cemetery in Lawrenceburg. Visitation will be from 6 to 8 PM Friday at Milward – Southland and from 10 AM Saturday until the time of the service at the church. Contributions are suggested to Hosparus - Hospice of Louisville, 3532 Ephraim McDowell Drive, Louisville, KY 40205.
