The immediate cause of death was supposed to have been heart failure. About three years ago he had a stroke of paralysis, but had been confined to his bed for about a year. He had never been married.
He is survived by his father and mother, two brothers and three sisters.
He was buried Monday at the Norris Graveyard, Reverend Ed Farthing conducting the funeral service.
