Daisy Adelaide HOLLENBACK was born on February 2, 1888 in Gage County, Nebraska. Her parents were Nathan Paul HOLLENBACK and Mary Rebecca GILCREST. She was the sixth child of eight children born to Nathan and Mary. Her siblings were: Elsie, George, Carl, Walter, Fred, Lillie, and Paul.

Daisy married Roy Clair ABRAHAM on March 31, 1907 in Douglas County, Nebraska. They had four sons: Clair Eugene, Walter Leslie, Harold Lot, and Vernon Warren, and an adopted daughter, Justine STEADMAN.

Daisy and Roy lived in Nebraska until 1919, when they moved to Siloam Springs, Arkansas. While living in Arkansas, they farmed and raised fruit. In 1936, the ABRAHAMs moved to Oklahoma to make their home, and as they had done in Nebraska and Arkansas, they did general farming, but also expanded into dairy farming.

They were members of First Christ Church in Cushing, Oklahoma.

ABRAHAM - Daisy A., age 70 years, at Tulsa, Oklahoma. Survived by husband, Roy; 3 sons: Reverend Harold L. and Vernon, both of Tulsa, Oklahoma. Clair in Texas; 9 grandchildren.

Graveside services Monday, 2 p.m., Elk City Cemetery, Elk City, Nebraska. Remains will arrive Sunday evening.
