Our beloved wife, mother, grandmother, and great-grandmother passed away peacefully on August 16, 2011.

Genevieve was born August 14, 1926 in Minersville, Utah to Wilford John Robinson and Alvaretta Corbridge Robinson. Genevieve served an LDS mission to the Hawaiian Islands from 1949-1951.

She married the love of her life, Don Forrest Clark, in the Salt Lake LDS Temple on March 14, 1952. Together they had four children. Sadly, Don passed away on February 15, 1976. Genevieve then dedicated her life to raising her young children. She worked as a secretary for Jordan School District until she retired in 1987.

She had a special way of making each of her four children, nineteen grandchildren, and twenty-one great grandchildren feel important, cared for and loved. She loved to get together with her family.

Genevieve liked to sew, cook, and sing. She performed with a barbershop quartet and had many wonderful friends. Her ready smile and laugh brought great happiness to others. She enjoyed giving treats and gifts.

Genevieve was a faithful member of The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-Day Saints. She enjoyed studying the scriptures, serving in Church callings and sharing her testimony of her Savior, Jesus Christ in word and deed.

She is survived by her children, Shauna Braunberger (Wayne), Kelvin Clark (Sandra), and Jolyne Nickle (Ross), her sister, Larena Schwab, and brother, George Robinson. She was preceded in death by her son, Gordon Clark (Cathy), parents, and brother, Roldo Robinson.

The family would like to thank the care givers of Alta Ridge South Jordan and Millcreek Home Health who have assisted Genevieve.

Funeral Services will be held in the Butler Seventh Ward Chapel, 1355 East 7200 South, Cottonwood Heights, Utah, on Saturday, August 20, 2011 at 11:00 a.m. Friends may call on Friday, August 19, 2011 from 6:00-8:00 p.m. at Larkin Sunset Gardens, 1950 East Dimple Dell Road (10600 South), Sandy, Utah, and from 10:00-10:40 a.m. at the church.
Interment will be in the Murray City Cemetery.
