George W. Ludy, 70, Dies at Home of Cousin on Orchard
George
Washington Ludy, 70 years old, died at 1 o'clock this morning at the home of his
cousin, A. N. Ludy, 710 Orchard street.
Mr. Ludy had been a resident of Jasper
county 45 years and lived in this city one year. He was a retired farmer. He
was born in Illinois August 24, 1856.
Surviving Mr. Ludy are two children, Mrs.
Myrtle McGrew, residing on Carthage route 2, and G. W. Ludy, Jr. of Carl
Junction.
Funeral services will be held at the Baptist church in Carl Junction
at 3 o'clock tomorrow afternoon. The Rev. Mr. Cale, pastor of the church, will
be in charge. A choir will sing.
Burial will be
