Susan T. Huff was born May 16, 1853 in Mississippi, daughter of D.V. and Martha Huff. In 1860, the family was living in Sabine, Texas (Van Zandt County) and they were still there in 1870.
In 1871, Susan married Granville F. Belew. In 1880, they were living in Van Zandt County, Texas with two chldren, Persula and Thomas. In 1900, they were stil in Van Zandt County, and their daughter, Zula, and her husband, William E. Rigsby, were living with them. In 1910, Susan and Granville were living in Durant Ward 3, Oklahoma (Bryan County).
Susan died March 17, 1928 in Durant, Oklahoma (Bryan County) and was buried there in the Highland Cemetery.
