Melanie Jeanne Wright Greene, age 32 of Chandler, Arizona passed away on Sunday, August 14, 2011 in Phoenix, AZ.
She was born in Torrance, California on August 1, 1979 Daughter of Russell D. Wright and Jane McMenamy Ruddell.
Melanie was formally from Globe. She graduated from Globe High School in 1997. She moved to the Valley in 2007. She worked as a Correctional Officer 3 at the Florence State Prison. She enjoyed being with her family, shopping with her sisters, helping others and spending quality time with her children.
Melanie always had a smile for everyone, she was always looking at the bright side of things, enjoyed music, singing and dancing. She was a loving daughter, mother, aunt and treasured friend and will be deeply missed by all who knew and loved her.
Melanie is survived by her children; Richard V. Sandoval, Daniel J. Sandoval, Joseph L. Greene and Aliyah N. Greene, her parents Russell Wright and Jane Ruddell (Bob), her brother Richard Wright (Carrie), her sisters; Rhonda Wood Wright, Crystal Kelley and Mary Lewis (Jason), her grandmother; Joyce McMenamy, numerous aunts and uncles, nieces and nephews.
Visitation will be on Friday, August 19, 2011 @ 11:00 A.M. @ Trinity Baptist Church in Globe, AZ Funeral Services will follow @ 12:00 Noon @ the church.
Interment will be at Globe Cemetery, Globe, AZ
