THE VILLAGES — Roman G. Trembczynski, 85, died Saturday, Aug. 13, 2011.

Mr. Trembczynski was born in Calumet City, IL, and moved to The Villages from Dyer, IN, in 2002. He was retired from the steel mills; of the Catholic faith; was an Army veteran of World War II; and member of American Legion Post No. 330 in Calumet City.

Survivors include his sons, Roman Trembczynski, Mount Dora, Philip Traeger, Visalia, CA, Darrell Traeger, Garland, Texas, Greg Trembczynski, Crown Point, IN; six grandchildren; and two great-grandchildren.

Joint graveside services for Mr. and Mrs. Trembczynski are scheduled for 10 a.m. Friday, Aug. 26, at Florida National Cemetery, Bushnell, with full military honors for Mr. Trembczynski conducted by The Spring Hill Marine Corps League Honor Guard.

Arrangements are by Beyers Funeral Home and Crematory, Lady Lake.

Roman G. Trembczynski, 85, of The Villages, Florida
died August 13, 2011. He was born October 4th, 1925
in Calumet City, Illinois and was a long time resident.
He was of the Catholic faith. After he retired from the
steel mills he moved to The Villages in 2002 from Dyer,
Indiana . He was a member of The American Legion
Post #330 in Calumet City, Illinois. He served his
country as a soldier in the 103rd Infantry Division
WWII, ACTIVATED 10/42-9/45, 500 miles of combat
via France, Germany, Austria and Italy during the
Rhineland, Ardennes-Alsace, Central Europe
Campaigns.
He is survived by:
Sons: Roman (Janice) Trembczynski of Mt. Dora, FL
Philip (Janice) Traeger of Visalia, CA
Darrell (Deborah) Traeger of Garland, TX
Greg (Donna )Trembczynski of Crown Point, IN
Grand Children: Dr. Ryan (Laurie) Trembczynski
