BOOKER, Harry J. ("Jarv") age 75 years lost his battle with lung cancer on November 9, 2003; born May 17,1928 in Ferndale, Michigan. His zest for life will long be remembered by his family and many friends. Survived by his wife of 55 years Bette (Iler) Booker: his brothers Charles Debbs and Gordon Booker were waiting for him at "the Pearly Gates". He is also survived by his sister Betty (Hill) Jenkins. He will be greatly missed by his chilfren and their spouses; Susan and Kerry Rose, Harry E Booker, Russell and Vicki Booker, and Tammy Booker; also his grandchildren Jason and Justin and Tabitha Rose, Chad Booker, Harry Russell Booker, Russell Jarvis Booker, Brianne Booker, Joshua Booker, and Derek Booker, Also many cousins,nieces, nephews. He was an experienced and accomplished hunter and fisherman that had a great love and respect for nature. He was a veracious reader and loved history of the old west. He felt most at home in in the woods or the marshes among "mother nature" or tending to his vegteable garden.

Harry was the co-owner of Booker Brothers Cement Company and a partner in several other ventures including the Silver Lake Golf Club in Drayton Plains and Clarkston, Michigan.
