Gregorita Gutiérrez, age 80, beloved mother, grandmother and sister was called home to be with the Lord our Savior on Friday, November 1, 2002.
Gregorita was preceded in death by her husband, Ricardo Gutiérrez, her parents, Alcario and Candelartia B. Cárdenas and a brother, Andres Cárdenas.
Gregorita is survived by her loving children, Herman Gutiérrez and his wife, Mary of Bernalillo, Candy Reams and her husband, Paul of Bernalillo, Olojia Lucero and her husband, Alex of Placitas, Victor Guitérrez and his wife, Dorothy of Bernalillo, Carmen Valdéz and her husband, Luciano of Placitas, Cordelia Grauf, Felix Gutiérrez of Albuquerque, Frances Candelaria and her husband, Gilbert of Placitas, Jane Mujica and her husband, Felipe of Bernalillo, Joe Gutiérrez and his wife, Debbie of Bernalillo, Joyleen Estrada and Albert Jácquez of Bernalillo and Rick Gutiérrez and his wife, Lorraine of Albuquerque, 31 grandchildren, 20 great-grandchildren and one great-great-grandchild. Also surviving are four sisters, Minnie Lewis, Tillie Córdova, Sefora Cárdenas and Pauline, two brothers, Ray Cárdenas and Abie Cárdenas and numerous nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends.
Gregorita will be greatly missed by her loving family and by those who knew and loved her.
Visitation will be held on Sunday from 2:00 p.m. until 4:00 p.m. in the Chapel of Alameda Mortuary. A Rosary will be recited on Sunday at 7:00 p.m. at Our Lady of Sorrows Catholic Church. Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated on Monday at 10:00 a.m. also at Our Lady of Sorrows Catholic Church. Interment will follow at the Placitas Catholic Cemetery. Casket bearers will be Joey Gutiérrez, Alcario Castro, Greg Reams, Riggie Candelaria, León Lucero, Luciano L. Valdéz, Steven Gutiérrez and Robert Chávez. Honorary bearers will be Albert Gutiérrez, Marcos Gutiérrez, Edward Lucero, Gene Gutiérrez, Nathan Gutiérrez, Gabriel Gutiérrez and Felipe Mujica.
