Dorothy J. Morehead

Dorothy J. Morehead (nee Baldwin), 75, of Zephyrhills, Fla., died Saturday at East Pasco Hospital in Zephyrhills, after a long illness.
She was born in Canastota, N.Y., and had lived in Zephyrhills since 1981. She lived most of her life in Vermilion.
Mrs. Morehead worked as head cashier at the old Meyer Goldberg and Fisher Food Stores in Lorain.
She enjoyed sewing and loved cats and dogs.
Mrs. Morehead is survived by her daughter, Ethel G. Hildreth of Fayetteville, N. Y.; son, Harmon Friend of Vermilion; six grandchildren, four great-grandchildren; and sisters Doris Pickard and Gloria Emmerich and brother DeForest Baldwin, all of Zephyrhills.
She was preceded in death by her husband, Larry S. Morehead in 1973; a sister, Eleanor Emmerich; and a brother, Harmon Baldwin.
Friends may call Wednesday 10:00 a.m. until the time of the services at 11 a.m. at the Riddle Funeral Home, 5345 South St., Vermilion. The Rev. Ken Schultz, pastor of Christian Missionary Alliance Church in Vermilion, will officiate. Burial will be in Brownhelm Cemetery, Vermilion.
