EARL C. MILLER
AMHERST - Earl C. Miller, 68, of 113 Forest Hill Dr., was pronounced dead on arrival yesterday at 5 p.m. in Amherst Hospital where he was taken after being stricken while attending a meeting of the Golden Age Club. He suffered from a heart ailment.
Mr. Miller was born Aug. 31, 1891 in Vermilion and lived in Amherst 10 years. He was formerly employed as a stationary engineer for the National Tube Co., Lorain, retiring in 1956.
Mr. Miller was a member of St. Peter's United Church of Christ and the Amherst Golden Age Club.
Survivors are his wife, Dora; two daughters, Mrs. Alva Normandeau, Vermilion and Mrs. Don Franklin, Lantana, Fla.; two sons, Clifford, Gerard, Pa. and George, Amherst; seven grandchildren; two great-grandchildren; three sisters, Miss Helen Emmerich, Amherst, Mrs. Frank Arndt, Cleveland and Mrs. Warren Decker, Manlius, N.Y., and two brothers, Harvey Emmerich, Lorain and Ernest Emmerich, Vermilion.
Friends will be received at the Emmerich Funeral Home where services will be Sunday at 2 p.m. The Rev. Guy J. Moyer, pastor of St. Peter's Church, will officiate. Burial will be in Brownhelm Cemetery.
