Mrs. Harvey Emmerick
Mrs. Mary Emmerick, 77, nee Baumhardt, died Saturday afternoon at Tampa General Hospital, Tampa, Fla. after she was stricken with a heart attack in the home of a granddaughter, Mrs. Audrey Lusker, 115 Floral Dr., Tampa. She had made her home there several months.
Mrs. Emmerick and her husband, Harvey who died in 1962, had once owned and operated a farm on Baumhart Rd., now the site of the Ford Motor Co. Lorain Assembly Plant. She was born in Brownhelm Township and was a member of the Brownhelm Evangelical and Reformed Church.
Surviving are a stepson, Norman Emmerick of San Jose, Calif., four grandchildren and three great-grandchildren.
She was preceded in death by a daughter, Mrs. Margaret Morrison in 1972 and three brothers, Kenneth Baumhardt in 1968, Louis Baumhardt in 1957 and Edward Baumhardt in October, 1974.
Friends will be received today from 7 to 9 p.m. and tomorrow from 2 to 4 and 7 to 9 p.m. at the Fisher Funeral Home, Vermilion, where the funeral service will be conducted Wednesday at 1 p.m. The Rev. Glenn Coleman will officiate. Burial will be in Brownhelm Cemetery, Vermilion.
