HARVEY G. EMMERICH

Harvey G. Emmerich, 65, a former resident of Brownhelm Township most of his life, died yesterday at 10 p.m. in Tampa, Fla., after a long illness.

He had lived in Tampa the past two years. His home was at 2811 Loraine Ave.

Mr. Emmerich was born Nov. 2, 1898 in Brownhelm Township and had owned and operated a farm at the corner of East Lake and Baumhardt Rds., which he sold in 1955 as the site for the Ford Motor Co. Assembly Plant and retired. He was a member of the Brownhelm United Church of Christ Reformed.

Survivors are his wife, Mary Baumhardt Emmerich; a son, Norman Emmerich, Vermilion; a stepdaughter, Mrs. Margaret Morris, Lorain; four grandchildren; two great-grandchildren; a brother, Ernest, of Claus Rd., Vermilion, and three sisters, Mrs. Warren Decker, Manlius, N.Y., Mrs. Frank Arndt, Cleveland, and Miss Helen Emmerich, Amherst.

Funeral arrangements will be made by the Edward M. Fisher Funeral Home, Vermilion.
