William and Elizabeth were over 30 years apart in age. Elizabeth was a widow for 40 years.

MRS. ELIZABETH EMMERICH
LORAIN - Mrs. Elizabeth Emmerich, 86, who had made her home the past 10 years with a daughter, Mrs. Charlotte Cleaver, 2320 Hamilton Ave., died yesterday at 8:40 p.m. in Lorain Community Hospital. She was ill a week.
Mrs. Emmerich had formerly lived in Brownhelm for many years. She was a member of Jehovah's Witnesses. Her husband, William, died in January, 1929.
Surviving are a son, Albert of Amherst; two other daughters, Mrs. Elmer (Caroline) Rumsey of Grand Island, N.Y. and Mrs. Carmen Jennings of Tonawanda, N. Y.; four grandchildren; 17 great-grandchildren and three sisters, Mrs. William (Margaret) Koch and Mrs. Victor (Elma) DeLor, both of Sandusky and Mrs. Theresa Lattimore of Norwalk.
Friends will be received at the Hempel Funeral Home, Amherst, tonight from 7 to 9 and tomorrow from 2 to 4 and 7 to 9 p.m.
The funeral service will be Wednesday at 1 p.m. in the funeral home. Russell Stipanovich will officiate. Burial will be in Brownhelm Cemetery.
