Mr. Elmer Junior Baxter, age 61, of Dallas, Georgia, passed away December 14, 1982 in Cobb County, Georgia. He was born in Dallas, Paulding County, Georgia, on May 18, 1921, to the late Elmer F. Baxter and Lillie Mae Tant Baxter. He was a Veteran of WW II, having served in the US Army and was a life long resident of Paulding County.

He is survived by his children, John Elmer Baxter and Linda Marie Cole; four grandchildren; his sisters and brother-in-law, Mrs. Katie Elizabeth Bates, of Dallas, Mr. and Mrs. James L.(Margaret) Gravley of Acworth; his brother and sister-in-law, Mr. and Mrs. Johnny Hartwell (Violet) Baxter of Richmond, Virginia; nieces and nephews.

Besides his parents, Elmer and Lillie Baxter, he was preceded in death by two brothers, Hoyt and Roy, twins who died at birth and a sister, Mrs. Irene C. Freeman who died Sept. 26, 1970.

He was affectionately known to his family and friends as Junior.
