The Anthon Herald, 2 May 1984, page 5: Albert R. Forch, 83, of Anthon died Sunday, April 22, 1984, in a nursing home in Correctionville. Services were at 10:30 a.m. Wednesday, April 25, in St. Joseph's Catholic Church in Anthon with Rev. Gerald Zensen officiating. Burial was in Mt. St. Joseph's Cemetery, Anthon, under direction of Walter Funeral Home. Mr. Forch was born July 13, 1900, in Cherokee to Karl and Mary (Schuh) Forch. He married Margaret Leahy April 3, 1923, in Danbury. She died April 25, 1974. He farmed in this area and was a member of St. Joseph Catholic Church. Survivors include three sons, John of Moville, Vincent and James both of Sioux City; four daughters, Mrs. Mary Jo Dicks of Menomonie, Wisconsin; Mrs. Richard (Margaret) Roark and Mrs. James (Cecelia) Karhoff, both of Anthon, and Mrs. James (Katherine) Frederick of Shenandoah; two brothers, George Forch of Anthon and John Burow of Sioux City; 22 grandchildren and 27 great grandchildren. He was preceded by his parents, his wife, two brothers and two sisters.
