WILLIAM STEINAKER
Funeral services for William Earl Steinaker, 68, of Manila, Utah, were conducted Thursday at 2 p.m. at the Manila Ward LDS Chapel, Bishop Richard Webster officiating. Burial was in Manila City Cemetery.
Mr. Steinaker died Sunday, June 23, at Lucerne Marina in the Flaming Gorge area.
A resident of Green River 14 years, he had moved to Manila about two months ago.
Born Oct. 21, 1902, in Vernal, Utah, he was the son of Joseph Anthony and Maude Bealer Steinaker.
He had worked on his father's ranch at Lone Tree for many years and also had been employed by the U.S. Forest Service five years. He had delivered mail from Green River to Manila, McKinnon, Burnt Fork and Dutch John for 21 years, until his retirement in June, 1970.
Surviving are a brother, Elbert Steinaker of Manila, five nieces and two nephews.
