Retired clerk Elmo C. "Pete" Barnard,
86, 531 NE 4th, Camas, died Thursday, July
26, in a Vancouver hospital.
Born August 7, 1886 in Iowa, he had
lived in the Camas area 55 years.
Services were at Brown's Stoller
Memorial Chapel with interment in the
Camas Cemetery. The Rev. Edwin Martin
officiated.
He is survived by his sons, J. O. Barnard
of Vancouver, Edward C. Barnard of
Camas; daughter Mrs. Ruth Hylton of
Vancouver; nine grandchildren, 13 greatgrandchildren,
and two great-greatgrandchildren.
