Ruth Esther Rader (nee Johns), 99, of Elyria died Wednesday at Avon Oaks Nursing Home after a long illness.
Born in Swan Creek Township, Ohio, she lived in Grafton from 1967 to 1972, when she moved to Elyria.
A member of the Elyria Baptist Church, she belonged to the church's Jolly Sixties Club and enjoyed crocheting, word puzzles and Bible reading.
Survivors include sons Delbert of Elyria, Glen W of Grafton and Melvin of San Diego; daughters Irene Trott of North Ridgeville and Doris Lauer of Elyria; 14 grandchildren and 30 great-grandchildren and three great-great-granchildren.
She was preceded in death by her husband, Alber F; daughter, Rehta E Rader; three brothers and five sisters.
Burial will be in Butternut Ridge Cemetery in Eaton Township.
