Martha Jane Hall Skellenger was the daughter of Oliver and Elizabeth Hall of Fairfield Township, Cumberland Co, NJ. She married Joseph Skellenger ca. 1859 in Cumberland Co, NJ. They had three children together; Ida B, Martha and Oliver H. Martha Jane and her children all died within approx. 40 days of one another, due to diphtheria. All are buried in the Cohansey Baptist Church Cemetery at Roadstown, according to the records of that church.
