Mrs. Sylvia Walters, age 91, of Lakeland, FL died of vascular dementia on Thursday, October 20, 2005 at home. She was born in Coalwood, WV on March 2, 1914 and worked in child care. She was a Methodist.
Mrs. Walters is survived by her sons, Alfred Walters Jr; Bill Walters; Jim Walters; daughters, Judith Ann Gordon; Nancy Lee McLeod; sister, Louise Coe of WV; 13 grandchildren and 17 great grandchildren.
Visitation will be from 6-8 p.m. October 21, 2005 at Gentry-Morrison, Southside Chapel with services on Saturday, October 22, 2005 at 11 a.m.
