WINTERS, Nov. 1 - Funeral for W. G. HANCHER, 76, resident of Winters since 1920, will be held at 3 p.m. Wednesday in Spill Funeral Home Chapel with burial to follow in Bradshaw Cemetery.
Mr. HANCHER died at his home about seven miles north of Winters about 7:30 a.m. Tuesday. He had been in ill health for some time.
He lived with two brothers, Lawrence and Ray , at the family home.
He was born Oct. 29, 1879, in Hendricks County, Indiana, and came to Winters with his parents from Post in 1920.
He was a member of the Church of Christ.
Survivors include four brothers, Lawrence and Ray of the home, C. D. of Dallas and Charley of San Antonio; two sisters, Mrs. Ella BRIGHAM, and Mrs. Bertha SCHWIER, both of Dallas.
