Shirley Ann Adams, 69, of Duquette, Minn., passed away in her home Aug. 13, 2011.
Shirley was born Sept. 9, 1941, and was one of eight children by Charles and Marcella Fisher. Shirley loved camping, fishing and the outdoors.
She had a big heart, and family and friends knew she would always be there for them. Spending time with her family was her greatest pleasure.
She was preceded in death by her parents; brothers William and James; husband Donald; and son James.
Shirley is survived by her daughters Carol (Troy Hoff) Adams and Paula (Clay Anderson) Adams; grandsons Jason Sostak, Brent (Catherine) Sostak, Andrew Gebhart, Devin Adams and Gavin Adams; granddaughters Amanda Gebhart and Ashley Anderson; sisters Mary (Ron) Olson, Jean Fisher and Patti (Don Bertsch) Mercer; brothers Charles (Edye) Fisher and Phil (Theresa) Fisher; and numerous nieces and nephews.
Private family service to be held at the Nickerson Cemetery.
