Achsah Schetrompf, 89, formerly of 1145 Kuhn Ave., Hagerstown and Warfordsburg, Pa., died Saturday, Nov. 30, 1996, at Avalon Manor Nursing Home, Hagerstown. Born Jan. 27, 1907, in Fulton County, Pa., she was the daughter of the late Charles D. and Mary E. Powell Bishop. Her husband, Guy L. Schetrompf, preceded her in death.
She is survived by one daughter, Alma E. Hann of Tampa, Fla.; one brother, Marshall H. Bishop of Warfordsburg; four grandchildren; and 11 great-grandchildren. Services will be held Wednesday at 3 P.M. at Warfordsburg Presbyterian Church. The Rev. William C. Mielke will officiate. Burial will be in Mayes Chapel Cemetery. Visitation will be held at the church one hour prior to the service on Wednesday. Arrangements are by Gerald N. Minnich Funeral Home, 305 N. Potomac St., Hagerstown.
