She attended the South Kitsap High School, where she graduated in 1931.
Then on 7 March 1938, Adena married Jack John Anderson, in Port Orchard, Washington. He preceded her in death in 1956.
She was a waitress at the former Myhre's Cafe in Port Orchard, from where she retired in 1977 after thirty years there.
She enjoyed sports and was a Washington Mariners baseball fan.
On 25 January 2001, at the age of eighty eight, Adena passed away. She is survived by three sons, Jack , Terry and Steve ; seven grandchildren; and nine great-grandchildren. She also was preceded in death by four brothers and two sisters.
