Born in Shelby County Feb. 22, 1926, Mrs. Wisker was the daughter of Aloysius and Gertrude (Gosch) Schoentrup. On Sept. 3, 1949, she was married in Shelbyville to Charles Wisker and he survives.
Also surviving are a son, John Wisker, and two daughter, Helen Jean and Janet Lynn Wisker, all at home; three brothers, Richard and John Schoentrup, R. R. 5, Shelbyville, and Aloysius Schoentrup, R. R. 4, Shelbyville; and one sister, Mrs. Catherine Wertz, Seymour.
Mrs. Wisker was a graduated from St. Anothy's School of Nursing in Terre Haute and was a registered nurse at Major Hospital until the Heritage House Convalescent Center opened here. She was a nurse at Heritage House until becoming ill.
She was a member of St. Vincent Catholic Church and the Thompson Community Club.
Services will be at the church Tuesday at 9:30 a. m. with the Rev. Anthony Seger officiating. Burial will be in St. Vincent Cemetery. Friends may call at the Murphy Mortuary after 7:00 p. m. Sunday and after 2:00 p. m. Monday. The Rosary will be recited at the mortuary at 7:30 p. m. Monday. (Obit: The Shelbyville News, Jan. 23, 1971)
