Born April 6 1923, in Shelbyville, he was the son of Edward and Margaret (Zobel) Wisker. He married Florence Ann Schoentrup on Sept. 3, 1949, and she preceded him in death on Jan. 22, 1971. He married Mary (Branam) Miller on Sept. 12, 1974, and she survives.
Other survivors include his son, John (wife, Linda) Wisker of Shelbyville; daughters, Jean (husband, Gary) Tungat and Janet (husband, Tom) Wheeler, both of Shelbyville; stepdaughters, Phyllis (husband, Fred) Palmer of Avon and Ellen (husband, Guntis) Kirkis of New Palestine; brother, Herbert Wisker of Shelbyville; sisters, Mary Alice Minor of Florida and Marjorie Kuhn of Shelbyville; five grandchildren; eight step grandchildren; five great-grandchildren; and six step great grandchildren.
He also was preceded in death by his parents.
Mr. Wisker was a lifelong farmer.
He was a member of St. Vincent de Paul Catholic Church.
Visitation will be from 4 to 8 p. m., with the rosary recited at 4:30 p. m., today at Murphy-Parks Funeral Service, 703 S. Harrison St.
Mass of Christian burial will be at 10 a. m. Wednesday at St. Vincent De Paul Catholic Church, 4218 E. Michigan Road, with the Rev. Paul Landwerlen officiating.
Burial will be in St. Vincent de Paul Catholic Cemetery in Shelby County.
