Mrs. Elizabeth Fisher Passed Away

At Home Of Son, Frank Fisher, Sunday

Funeral Service Tuesday

Mrs. Elizabeth Fisher, aged 80 years, well known resident, of near Prescott, died at the home of her son Frank Fisher, at seven o'clock Sunday morning. Death was caused from a complication of diseases, from which she had been suffering fro some time.
Mrs. Fisher came to this county in1871 and since that time had made her home in the community where she died. She was a member of the St. Vincent Catholic Church and up until her health failed was one of the leading workers in this church. She was a beloved mother and leaves a host of friends to mourn her death.
Surviving beside the son at whose home she died, she leaves three daughters and three sons; Mrs. Anna Neice, of Plainfield; Mrs. Mary Weintraut, of Indianapolis; Mrs. Frank Weintraut, of this county; Herman Fisher, of Kansa; Joseph Fisher, of this county; and John Fisher of Johnson county.
Funeral services will be conducted at the St. Vincent Catholic Church, at nine o'clock Tuesday morning. Burial will be made in the church cemetery with Stewart & Fix undertakers in charge. (Obit: The Shelbyville Republican, Aug. 8, 1921)
