United States Army Officer. He was killed at the Battle of Tippecanoe. He served as surveyor of Shelby County in 1796, subsequently a magistrate, and Colonel Commandant of the first militia 18th Regiment of Kentucky. He was also in the legislature in 1798, a member of the state constitutional convention the next year, and state senator in 1810.
