Born March 3, 1938, to Ozie Clegg Sr. and Ida Pumphrey Clegg, he was retired from Reynolds Metal Company and Allen Farms, was of the Baptist faith, and was a member of Davis Creek Missionary Baptist Church, where he served as a deacon and superintendent and president of the Sunday school. He was predeceased by his parents; two brothers, Ozie Clegg Jr. and Franklin Clegg; one sister, Alberta Baugh; and one son, Marvin Tony Clegg.
Survivors include his wife, Catherine Dorn Clegg, of Prattsville; four sons and daughters-inlaw, Henry Jr. and Suzanne Clegg, of Cedar Hill, Texas, Lee Andrew and Tjuania Clegg, of Desoto, Texas, Derrick and Shenell Clegg, of Arlington, Texas, and Aaron and Sharon Clegg, of Grand Prairie, Texas; six daughters and four sons-in-law, Cathy and Rodney Williams and Tamala and Marshall Traylor, all of Malvern, Aundra and Marcus Fricks and Evelyn and Marshall Murdock, all of Cedar Hill, Texas, Kenya Clegg of Prattsville, and Latisha Clegg of Columbus, Ga.; 34 grandchildren; and six great-grandchildren.
