"He was born July 2, 1920, to Mace and Inez Turner in Sacramento. He attended schools in Chico. On Aug 18, 1940, he married Gladys Adkins. In 1945 O'Farrell served in World War II in the Army. He was a retired truck driver and almond ranch foreman. He enjoyed fishing and his family.

"Survivors include his wife, Gladys of Chico; four daughters, Barbara Brown of Sacramento, Judy Billings of Abbyville, AL, Linda Iden of Hanford, and Sharon Boster of Red Bluff; two sons, Michael of Colusa, and Patrick of Corcoran; a brother, Robert Turner of Chico; 17 grandchildren and 34 great-grandchildren.

"Visitation will be held from 5 to 8 p.m. today at Brusie Funeral Home. Burial will be in Glen Oaks Memorial Park. Memorial contributions may be made to the American Heart Association in care of the funeral home."
