Mr. and Mrs. Carl Asbury and family entertained at Sunday dinner in honor of Mrs. Patsy Asbury's birthday several of the relatives and friends attended.

Mrs. James Smith and daughter, Miss Mildred Lawrence, attended a birthday dinner Sunday at the home of Mrs. Smith's brother, Carl Asbury, near Clark. The dinner honored his mother, Mrs. W. H. Asbury, who was 72 years old and in fairly good health. Dinner was served on long tables outdoors.

The Rev. E.Y. Keiter of Moberly conducted the funeral of Mrs. Martha Asbury at Perche church Friday morning.

Grandsons who acted as pallbearers were Virgil Lawrence, Roy Asbury of Moberly, Buster Wheeler of Fayette, W.M. Asbury, Clydus Asbury and Hobart Wheeler.
