Carl S. Halleck, 69, 1907 W. Memorial Dr., former owner and operator of Halleck Canvas Co. for 18 years, died Tuesday in Ball Hospital. He was a Muncie native and had lived his entire life here. He was a member of the Muncie Chamber of Commerce.
Surviving are his wife, Mary; a daughter, Mrs. Isaac Campbell, Muncie; a son, George Halleck, Muncie; two sisters, Mrs. Audrey Schumacher and Mrs. Pauline Clifton, Muncie; and four grandchildren.
Friends may call at Meeks Mortuary from 2 to 5 and from 7 to 9 p.m. Wednesday and before services there at 11 a.m. Thursday. Rev. John T. Connaway will officiate. Burial will be in Beech Grove Cemetery.
