Katherine Jean Bradford, 82, of St. Joseph, passed away on Saturday, July 26, 2008 at Lakeland Continuing Care, St. Joseph.
A Celebration of Katherine's Life Service will be held at 10:30 AM on Tuesday, July 29, 2008 at Starks & Menchinger Funeral Home, 2650 Niles Rd; St. Joseph, MI with Rev. Jim Whitman of Berrien County Baptist Church officiating. Visitation with the family will be from 9:30 AM to 10:30 AM prior to the service. Burial will follow afterwards at North Shore Memory Gardens. Memorials may be made to the American Cancer Society.
Katherine was born on January 29, 1926 in Attica, IN to Leo and Mary (Faye) Rennick. She married the former Clifford Harold Bradford on May 11, 1946 in Benton Harbor. She raised a daughter, Sandra and a son, Dennis. She loved ceramics earlier in her life. She enjoyed going out to eat. Katherine was a 23 year resident of Vineyards Apartments being the 2nd tenant since its inception. Her family was her life to her. Katherine took care of anyone who needed her help.
Katherine was survived by her children; Sandra (Larry) Peek, Dennis (Pamela) Bradford; 3 grandchildren, Jeff (Debbie) Peek, Chris and Eric Bradford; 5 great grandchildren; sisters, Margaret (George) Angelo, Charlotte Duran, Peggy McCormick, Leila Masters; and very special sister-in-law, Dixie Rennick and 23 nieces and nephews and many friends.
She is preceded in death by her husband, Clifford and grand daughter, Teresa (Berry) Reagan.
