Dolgeville ~ George McLean, 86, died April 30, 1947, in Little Falls Hospital where had been a patient for one week.
He was born in Norway March 4, 1861, a son of John C. and Sarah Moody McLean. He was a lifelong resident of this section and had been employed in lumber camps. He had been in retirement several years.
Surviving are several nieces and nephews.
The funeral will be at 2 p.m. tomorrow from the Moore Funeral Home, here. The Reverend Joseph Satcone of the Full Gospel Church of Salisbury will officiate. Burial will be in the Stratford Cemetery.
