Mrs. Jennie McEachern died at the home of her daughter, Mrs. John H. Campbell. at Raeford, N.C. early Tuesday morning. She was in her 84th year.

Mrs. McEachern was the sidow of the late J.C. McEachern who died about 19 years ago. Before her marriage she ws Miss Jennie Carmichael, a daughter of Jno H. Carmichael, and was the last surviving member of her immediate family. Her brothers and sisters having preceded her to the grave many years ago.

After her marriage the most of Mrs. Mceachern's life was spent at the family home near Hamer, until a few years ago when she moved to Raeford, N.C.to make her home with her daughter. She continued to keep her membership in Kentyre Church, of which she had long been a faithful member, and she was buried at Kentyre Wednesday morning, the services being conducted by rev. Dr. Fairley of the Raeford Presbyterian church, assisted by rev. W.D. Arnold of Hamer and rev. F.j. Hay of Dillon.

Mrs. McEachern's surviving children are Mrs. John H. Campbell of Raeford and J.A. McEachern of Hamer.
