Orville Graham, 83, of Mt. Pleasant, died Monday, April 10, 1989, at the Total Living Center of Mt. Pleasant.
Services are scheduled for 2 p.m. Wednesday at the Stinson-Helms Funeral Home in Mt. Pleasant with the Rev. Johnathan Bryan of the Westside Gospel Tabernacle officiating. Burial will take place at Riverside Cemetery in Mt. Pleasant.
Mr. Graham was born Nov. 4, 1905, in New Matamoras, Ohio. He was the son of Jerry and Isabelle (Worstel) Graham.
A resident of the Mt. Pleasant area since 1928, Mr. Graham worked as an oil field driller for various oil companies from 1928 to 1968, when he retired.
He is survived by two daughters, Donna Salvner of Mt. Pleasant and Bonnie Eldred of Tallahassee, Fla.; two sons, Ronald of Mt. Pleasant and Jerry of Ada; 12 grandchildren; six great grandchildren; two brothers, Ernest of Newport, Ohio, and Dorsey of Marietta, Ohio; and two sisters, Fern Binigar and Pearl Patterson, both of Marietta, Ohio.
He was preceded in death by a son, Robert Lee in 1936.
