I, Isaac Lamson of Mount Washington in the county of Berkshire and commonwealth of Massachusetts being in full memory and sound judgment do hereby make and ordain this my last will and testament in manner and form following.
Item 1st. I hereby ordain and impower my executor to sell my out lands & scirts & convey the same to pay my debts.
Item2d. I give and bequeath the use of one third of the land I own of the old Samuel Dibell farm (exclusive of the mill privaledge) and the use of one third of the Briggs lot so called and one third of the house and one third of the east barn both standing on the Dibell premesis and three hundred dollars of my personal property at the appraisal in such articles as she may choose unto
my wife Waitstill during her natural life if she outlives me.
Item 3d. I give and bequeath the residue of my estate, goods and chattels to my children, viz: Daniel, Origen, Isaac, Cyrus, Jason,
Ira Otis E. William and Horace my daughters Judith, Ruth, Esther and Miriam in the following manner
to my sons each equal shares and to my daughters each one half as much as to one son with what each one has had already i.d. Judith has had one hundred and fifteen dollars, Ruth has had one hundred and sixty dollars and Miriam nothing. Esther and Miriam is to have a home in my house as long as they remain single.
Item 4th. I hereby nominate, constitute and appoint Origen my son my sole executor
of this my last will and testament hereby revoking all other and former wills by me heretofore made.
I n witness whereof I have hereunto set my hand and seal the first day of June in the year of our Lord eighteen hundred and thirty eight.

Isaac was a school teacher, mechanic, surveyor and owned a saw mill and grist mill. He was first married to Keziah Sharpe in about April 1784. They had 8 children: Daniel, Samuel, Origin, Judith, Ruth, Isaac II, Cyrus and Esther. He and Keziah parted ways.
He then married Deborah Pray in about 1805. They had 4 children: Jason, Ira, Otis and another boy. Deborah died.
He then became the second husband of widow, Waitstill Holley Patterson. Together he and Waitstill had 4 more children: William, Waitstill, Horace and Merriam.
Waitstill was married to Mark Patterson. Mark died and she also raised their two children will all the other Lamson children: Mark and Luther Patterson.
