Mt. Carroll, Ill., Aug. 8.—John William Zink, 60, died about 3:45 o'clock Sunday afternoon at the home of his daughter, Mrs. Ruth Stricker, in Savanna. He was born Jan. 3, 1878 in Jo Daviess county, the son of John and Mary Zink. He leaves two daughters, Mrs. Ruth Stricker of Savanna, Mrs. Demerie Shupbach, of Peoria, and one son, Kenneth Zink, of Mt. Carroll. Funeral arrangements have not been announced.

Mt. Carroll, Ill., Aug. 9.—Funeral services for John W. Zink, 60, who died Sunday afternoon in Savanna were held this afternoon from the Frank Brothers funeral chapel in Mt. Carroll with the Rev. J. H. Fetterolf, Lutheran pastor, in charge. Burial was made in Oak Hill cemetery.
