Services were held for Mrs. Ellen Anderson in Chicago, Illinois Friday February 1 and presided over by Rev Caludine Whittaker who was a friend of the deceased. The deceased who passed away January 30 at the age of 48, leaves besides her husband, a son Major G M Anderson, a grandchild Miles M Anderson, sisters and brothers, Mrs. Rose Dybig of Chicago, Mrs. H A Ekberg of Florida, Mrs. Catherine Wayeander of Fergus Falls, Mrs. Maxine Olson of Sioux City, IA, Roy Steen of Lincoln, Nebraska, Arthur Steen of Denver, Colorado, Wm Steen of Havelock , Iowa and Sam Steen of Engelwood, Colorado.
Mrs. Anderson was born in Havelock, Iowa August 6, 1897 and lived in Chicago during the past 25 years. Rave services were conducted by Rev J Walton Kempe and Interment was made at Chisago Lake Cemetery on February 2 at 2:00 pm. Casket carriers were: Dave Grandstrand, Telford Johnston, Arthur Herberg, Guy Ostrom, Anton Jonson and Martin Turner.
