Linda was born in Marion, July 28, 1958, to Harold and Anna (Thompson) Baker and they survive in Tiffin. Linda had been in failing health for several years. She married Michael J. Huffman May 6, 2000, at the First Lutheran Church, Tiffin. He passed away June 12, 2009.
Linda is survived by her son Brian Kummerer of Tennessee; parents; a sister, Lori Keener of Painesville; aunts; uncles; cousins; a nephew; a niece; and a great-nephew.
Linda was a 1976 Columbian High School graduate. She was at the top of her class at the Marion Nursing School, in Marion, where she received her LPN license. She went on to work for several local physicians. Above all, Linda loved caring for others, and valued the relationships she had with her many patients and their families over the years. She was a member of Family of Faith Lutheran Church.
Linda loved people, flowers and animals; especially her dog, Sheba, and her two cats, Baby and Prince.
The funeral will be at 11 a.m. Tuesday, Aug. 16, 2011, at the funeral home with Pastor Mark Brodbeck officiating. Burial will follow at St. Joseph Cemetery.
Visitation will be 4-7 p.m. Monday, Aug. 15, 2011, and 10-11 a.m. Tuesday, Aug. 16, at Traunero Funeral Home and Crematory, 214 S. Monroe St., Tiffin, Ohio 44883 (419) 447-3113.
