BARDEN, James E. "Jim," 77, of Lutz, Fla., died August 11, 2011. He was born in Lawrence, Mass. He was a proud veteran of the U.S. Air Force. Jim was a longtime member of Christ Fellowship of Tampa, formerly Spencer Memorial, serving as a Sunday school teacher and sound technician. He was predeceased by his wife of 45 years, Dorothy "Dot". He is survived by his four children, Tom (Diane) Barden, Sherry (Rodney) Cumbie, Randy (Laurel) Barden and Ruth (Murray) Vassar; eight grandchildren; and two great- grandchildren. Visitation will be 6-8 p.m. Sunday, August 14, 2011. Funeral services will be at 11 a.m. Monday, August 15, 2011. Both services will take place at Christ Fellowship, 300 E. Sligh Ave., with internment 1:30 p.m. at Florida National Cemetery, Bushnell, Fla.
