Ernest W. Neubauer, 74, of 889 South Island Rd., Grafton, died in Tiffin State Hospital yesterday afternoon after a two-year illness.
Mr. Neubauer, who was born in Fostoria May 22, 1895, lived in the Elyria area 40 years. He was a retired employee of the Timms Spring Co., and a member of the Seventh Day Adventist Church.
Surviving are his wife, Marcella; a daughter, Mrs. Arlene Layfield, Newport Ore.; three step-sons, Edmond Novy, Utica, Mich.; Ralph Novy, Utica, Mich., Ralph Novy, Aloha, Ore., and Donald Novy, Seattle, Wash.; nine grandchildren.
Friends may call at the Wainwright Funeral Home today from 7 to 9 p.m. and tomorrow from 2 to 4 and 7 to 9 p.m.
Services are set for Monday afternoon, the time to be announced.
