F. Richard Morris

ELYRIA -- F. Richard Morris, 58, of RD 3, Butternut Ridge Rd., died Saturday at Memorial Hospital after a one-week illness.

Born in Gibson Station in 1900, he had been a resident of Elyria for 17 years and had been employed as a millwright at the Olsen Manufacturing Co. He was a member of the North Eaton Church of Christ.

Surviving are the widow Mary Mae; three daughters, Mrs. Paul Ables of Grafton, Mrs. Clyde Horton of Elyria, and Miss Hilda Morris of San Antonio, Texas; four sons, Charles H., Russell E., both of North Ridgeville, Earl H. of Elyria and Dean R. at home.

Nine grandchildren; two sisters, Mrs. Beryl Berth [sic--Dearth] of Warren and Mrs. Freda Swank of Salesville, O.; and four brothers, F.F. Morris of Warren, P.T. Morris of Salesville, Allan E. of Sarland, Fla.*, and R.R. Morris of Cambridge, O.

Funeral services will be held at 1:30 p.m. Wednesday at the Harold Dicken Funeral Home, 323 Middle Ave., with Rev. Stanley Bartlett officiating. Burial will be in Butternut Ridge Cemetery.

Friends may call at the funeral home tonight from 7 to 9 and tomorrow from 2 to 4 p.m. and 7 to 9 p.m.
