Mr. Lange was born in Poland November 10, 1860 and grew to manhood in that country. He was married to Paulina Boetcher at Lipno, Poland July 4, 1888 and came to this country in 1891. His wife followed him two years later. They located on a farm five miles west of Henderson and lived there over 40 years.
To them eight children were born and all but one survive their father. Amelia died when but one year of age. His wife preceded him in death in March of 1941.

Fred Lange of Henderson.
Besides these he leaves 39 grand children, 4 sons-in-law and one daughter-in-law.
The funeral services were held Sunday at 2 o'clock from the home and then at St. John's Lutheran Church in Arlington township of which church he was a member.
Rev. J. Busch officiated. A quartet consisting of Mrs. Ernest Lieske, Albert Lieske, Harvey Lieske and Victor Nagel at the church.
Interment was made in St. John's cemetery in Arlington township.
The pallbearers were six grandsons Ewald Pomerenke, Ruben Schmugge, Frederick Schmugge of St. Paul, David Pomerenke of LeSueur, James Kotasek and Floyd Schultz of Henderson.
The flower girls were six grand daughters; Lois, Eunice and Mavis Lapge, Luanne Schmugge, Clarice Schultz and Ione Kotasek.
Friends and relatives from a distance were:
