Mrs. J. M. Edwards, formerly of Lufkin and mother of C. B. and G. C. Edwards, died Monday in Baltimore, Maryland, where she had been making her home; body shipped from Baltimore to Lufkin, accompanied by son, W. L. Burton of Keystone, West Virginia, and a granddaughter, Miss Virginia Taylor; to be buried in Glendale Cemetery by side of her late husband; born in Virginia 5 August 1849, would have been 71 years old next month; twice married; has 5 children, all living: Walter L. Burton, Richmond, Virginia; John T. Burton, Keystone, West Virginia; Mrs. E. C. Baylor, Baltimore; George C. Edwards, Peason, Louisiana and C. B. Edwards of Beaumont. She was a member of Methodist Church.
