MISSION - Elias Cruz, 63, went to be with the Lord on Friday, August 12, 2011 at Mission Regional Medical Center in Mission, Texas. He was born to Jesus and Juana Cruz on July 20, 1948 in Pedregoso, Mexico. Mr. Cruz was preceded in death by his parents.

He is survived by his wife, Maria Esther Cruz from Mission; his sons and daughter, Elias Cruz Jr., Jorge Alberto Cruz, Jose Juan Cruz, Fernando Cruz and Veronica Cruz all from Mission.

He is also survived by his sisters, Aurora C. Reyna and Maria Inez Cisneros both from Mission, his brothers, Manuel Cruz, Miguel Cruz, Carlos Cruz all from Monterrey, Mexico, and Efren Cruz from Mission; and four loving grandchildren, Donavyn J. Cruz, Jalen B. Cantu, Sophia E. Cruz, and Zyria M. Cruz.

Funeral Mass: Tuesday, August 16, 2011 at 12 noon at Our Lady of Guadalupe Catholic Church in Mission. Interment: Valley Memorial Gardens in McAllen.
