William J. Gray - Age 89, of Lake Station, passed away in Methodist Hospital Southlake Campus Sat. March 23, 1996.
Retired employee of US Steel Gary Sheet & Tin Mill; member of M L McClelland Masonic Lodge #357-Hobart; Ancient Accepted Order of Scottish Rite, Valley of South Bend, and Orak Shrine.
Preceded in death by his wife, Ida Mary Gray and son, Ronald Gray. Survivors; 1 daughter, Charlotte (James) Hoefflicker of Lake Station; 3 grandchildren, James & Richard Hoefflicker, Marilyn Steffus; 5 great grandchildren; 2 great great grandchildren; 3 brothers, Samuel (Sue) Gray of Merrillville, Kenneth (Nora) Gray of Chicago, Clifford (Mary) Gray of Oregon; 1 sister, Margaret Megquier of Florida; many nieces & nephews; 3 sisters-in-law.
Funeral services Tues. March 26, 1996, 2:30 p.m. at Geisen Funeral Home, 7905 Broadway, Merrillville. Rev. David A Leeb officiating. Burial in Ridgelawn Cemetery, Gary. Friends may call Monday 2-9 p.m. Masonic Lodge service 7:30 p.m., Monday.
