Born February 7, 1963, in Fort Rucker, AL, he was a son of Lt. Col. Raymond Andrews (Ret.) and Connie Jo Dooley Andrews. Mr. Andrews worked at Ben Lippen School as the band director and teacher where he invested in the lives of his students and coworkers. He enjoyed being outdoors on his farm gardening or spending time with his family who he loved dearly.
Survivors include his wife, Kay Andrews of Blythewood, SC; her children, Jonathan and Jessica Gainey; father, Lt. Col. Raymond Andrews (Ret.); mother, Connie Jo Dooley Andrews; sister, Rachel Andrews Childress and husband, Col.
