Darryl Glenn Andrews, 48, of Blythewood, SC, is now in the loving grip of our Lord.

Born February 7, 1963, in Fort Rucker, AL, he was a son of Lt. Col. Raymond Andrews (Ret.) and Connie Jo Dooley Andrews. Mr. Andrews worked at Ben Lippen School as the band director and teacher where he invested in the lives of his students and coworkers. He enjoyed being outdoors on his farm gardening or spending time with his family who he loved dearly.

Survivors include his wife, Kay Andrews of Blythewood, SC; her children, Jonathan and Jessica Gainey; father, Lt. Col. Raymond Andrews (Ret.); mother, Connie Jo Dooley Andrews; sister, Rachel Andrews Childress and husband, Col. Franklin Childress; brother, Scott Andrews and wife, Eva; brother, Chaplain Keith Andrews and wife, Monica; mother-in-law, Harriett Lever Frick; brother-in-law, Bill Davis; sister-in-law, Joyce Davis; sister-in-law, Judy Frick; nieces, Caroline Childress, Sydney Andrews, Kaitlin Davis, Emily, Elizabeth Anne, Mary Catherine and Jenny Andrews; nephews, Kyle Davis and Will Andrews.

Darryl has left a mark on us that will never be forgotten. He will be missed greatly.
